SENIOR FITNESS INSTRUCTOR COURSE (SFIC)

This certified training program is based on appropriate physical activity programs for older adults. This certification program is open to older adults, young adults and volunteers who would like to learn how to design and lead effective fitness classes for this age group. The program consists of 36 hours of in-class training, 16 hours of field experience, take-home assignments, practical evaluatuion and annual certification renewal.

DATES: (2008) October 17, 18, 19, 24, 25 - (2009) March 20, 21, 22, 27, 28
TIME: 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
COST: $250 (includes study manual and GST)

ONE ON ONE TRAINING

The one hour session will enhance your regular yoga and fitness practise depending on your personal needs (i.e. detailing a yoga pose, balancing our the body's strength and flexibility). The session will take place at a mutually determined time and place.
